Based on materials from the State Bureau of Investigation, three collaborators of the occupiers were sentenced to up to 15 years in prison in the Kherson region

Based on materials from the State Bureau of Investigation, the courts handed down guilty verdicts against former law enforcement officers who collaborated with the occupation authorities in the temporarily occupied territories of the Kherson region.
The defendants were found guilty of collaborationist activity and state treason (part 2 of Art. 111, part 7 of Art. 111-1 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine) and were sentenced in absentia to punishment:
• a resident of Kherson who took the position of “senior operative officer” at Kherson Pre-Trial Detention Center No. 1;
• a resident of Kherson who took the position of “Head of the Legal Work Department” of the so-called “Tax Service of Kherson Oblast”;
• a resident of the village of Odarivka, whom the occupiers appointed deputy head of the Novotroitske district department of the so-called “Service for Civil Defense, Emergency Situations and Elimination of Consequences of Natural Disasters of Kherson Oblast”.
All traitors were sentenced to 15 years of imprisonment with confiscation of property. The term of serving the sentence will be calculated from the moment of their actual detention.
Procedural supervision is carried out by the Kherson Regional Prosecutor’s Office.
