The occupiers accused a resident of Kakhovka of allegedly passing information to Ukrainian intelligence services about the whereabouts of Russian military personnel.
The occupation prosecutor’s office of the region reported this.
According to the occupiers, the man in November 2023 and from April to September 2024 provided information on the deployment of Russian military personnel and equipment to Ukrainian intelligence services.
For this, the Kakhovka resident was illegally sentenced to 14 years’ imprisonment in a maximum-security penal colony, with restriction of liberty for one and a half years, and was fined 200,000 rubles.
Earlier it was reported that Russian security forces announced the detention of a resident of the Kherson region, whom they accuse of “state treason”.
