A new type of explosive device has been detected in Kherson that features electronic control and combined effects.
This was reported by the head of the Kherson City Military Administration, Yaroslav Shanko.
It is noted that the mine looks like an item wrapped in a cloth. It can be used to target both people and equipment. Currently specialists are studying the explosive’s characteristics, including its self-destruction time.
Residents are urged not to approach suspicious objects closer than 30 meters, not to touch or move them, and if found — to immediately call 101 or 102.
Recall, today another case of remote mining of Kherson territory by Russians was recorded. Anti-personnel mines of the “Pryanyk” (“Plyushka”) type were found on Korabelna Square.
