Two-thirds of the membership of the Coordination Council on support for persons deprived of liberty as a result of armed aggression will be representatives of relevant civil society organizations, those released from captivity, and members of their families.
This was reported on the Kherson MCA’s page.
Following the meeting, proposals were developed for the corresponding order. After it is signed, the Department of Social Policy will organize the first meeting of the renewed council, the post says.
Note that the order that approved the previous composition of the Council has been canceled. According to it, the council at one time included 23 people, of whom 10 were officials and 13 were representatives of public organizations.
As a result, an imbalance arose, which former civilian prisoners interpreted as an attempt by the Kherson MCA to make the Coordination Council subordinate to officials.
