On March 6, the Tyahynska community bid farewell to the fallen serviceman Yevhenii Savchuk.

Yevhenii Savchuk was born in the village of Vysoke in the Beryslav district of Kherson region. Later the family moved to the village of Burgunka.
At 18 he went as a volunteer to defend the country. He served in the 25th Air Assault Brigade. He participated in combat operations and had been wounded.
The defender died on March 1, 2026.
Yevhenii Savchuk was buried in the local cemetery of the village of Vysoke in the Tyahynska community.
