As of now, two people remain in Sablukivtsi on the right bank of Kherson Oblast. In neighboring Kachkarivtsi — about fifty.
This was reported to the Center for Journalistic Investigations by former starosta of Kachkarivka Yurii Butivchak.
“The road to Sablukivtsi is blocked, and you can’t cross the fields now or ride a bicycle through them. I don’t know how they are surviving,” he said.
Also, according to Butivchak, it is deadly dangerous in Kachkarivka and Sablukivtsi.
“For the last three months it has been very difficult to deliver humanitarian aid to the villages, so locals walk and ride bicycles to Nova Kamianka at their own risk,” added the former starosta.
As a reminder, approximately 160–170 thousand residents remain in the right-bank part of Kherson Oblast (including Kherson).
