Over the past week, 70 people were evacuated in Kherson region, including 14 children.
This was told to Suspilne by Andriy Kovanyi, head of the communications department of the Main Directorate of the National Police in Kherson region.
In total, the police together with other units and volunteers carried out 48 evacuation operations.
“The priority is working with families where there are children. They must be evacuated from dangerous areas. And in this respect, the police carry out systematic work, first of all with the parents themselves or with persons who replace them,” says the head of the communications department of the Main Directorate of the National Police in the region.
Recall that the head of the Kherson district state (military) administration approved the list of settlements and districts where compulsory evacuation of the population is in effect due to ongoing enemy shelling.
In Ukraine, by law they regulated the forced evacuation of children from zones of active combat operations even in the event of parental refusal.
