The occupation government of the TOT of Kherson region issued an order regarding the sale of the so-called “social bread” on the left bank of the region.
This is reported by occupation media.
It is noted that from now on a 450-gram loaf should cost no more than 18 rubles, and a 500-gram one — a maximum of 20 rubles. This refers to ordinary white bread made from premium or first-grade wheat flour.
In addition, local bread factories and bakeries are now obliged to bake at least 20% “social” products.
The occupiers reported problems with social bread on the left bank of the region as early as January 2024. At that time, in 6 of the 14 communities they stopped producing and selling it.
In August last year the illegal authorities stated that grain yields in the region were 2.5 times lower than expected.
At the same time, agricultural products from the temporarily occupied territories of Kherson and Zaporizhia regions are exported by the Russians to Belarus, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, as well as to Vietnam, India and China.
