Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion in Kherson Oblast, 2 144 people have died as a result of Russian aggression.
This was reported on the website of the Office of the Prosecutor General.
In terms of the number of deaths, Kherson Oblast is surpassed only by the most affected Donetsk and Luhansk oblasts.
In total, 16 789 people have died in Ukraine, and another 40 337 have been wounded.
Earlier it was reported that Kherson Oblast is one of the most affected regions of Ukraine due to the armed aggression of the Russian Federation. In the region, 41 421 crimes related to the war have already been recorded — this is one of the highest figures in the country.
