Defense Forces units in the Kherson region received a new batch of equipment to counter Russian aerial reconnaissance.
This was reported by the Kherson Regional Military Administration.
The shipment includes about fifty Ukrainian-made drones designed to intercept and destroy Russian UAVs. They specialize in eliminating reconnaissance devices that Russian forces use to adjust artillery fire on settlements in the Kherson region.
The Kherson Regional Military Administration noted that the drones have already undergone testing and proven effective at the front.
The purchase, amounting to 2.2 million UAH, was financed under the President of Ukraine’s United24 initiative.
