A Russian man fraudulently obtained a housing certificate and purchased a plot of land with a house in temporarily occupied Crimea. He claimed that he was allegedly from Kherson and had lost his home.
This was reported by pro-Russian Telegram channels.
In November 2022 the man applied to the occupying Ministry of Housing Policy of the Republic of Crimea for a social payment to purchase housing. And in March 2023 he received funds in the amount of 2 928 321 rubles. He purchased a plot of land with a residential house in the Kirovskyi district of occupied Crimea.
It later turned out that the man is a resident of Kaliningrad and owns several properties.
By court decision he must return almost 3 million rubles.
Recall, the occupiers seized the property of an entrepreneur from the Kherson region on suspicion of financial fraud.
