The occupation-appointed governor of Kherson region, Volodymyr Saldo, promised to create a “year-round resort” on the region’s coast.
Pro-Russian media report this.
According to him, the location for the future recreational site has supposedly already been determined.
However, Saldo refused to name the exact construction site, explaining that revealing the details is “premature”.
Recall that, according to the occupiers, in 2025 the left bank was supposedly visited by about 100,000 tourists, but 90 percent of them were relatives and acquaintances of Russian servicemen.
Earlier Saldo acknowledged that there is no demand for tourist services on the left bank of Kherson region.
At the same time, Kherson region itself, due to Russian aggression, risks turning into an environmental disaster zone. Damage to the region’s environment has already reached over UAH 159 billion.
