In 2026, funding for emergency medical services in Kherson Oblast was increased.
This was reported by the Kherson Regional Military Administration.
Overall funding for the sector in the region increased by UAH 39.9 million and now amounts to UAH 137.6 million. This made it possible to ensure a stable increase in payments to emergency service personnel, they noted there.
In particular, according to the administration, the average salary of an emergency medical doctor in January 2026 reached UAH 48,832.16. This is almost UAH 8,000 more than was recorded in the same period last year.
“In addition, employees of the region’s EMS centers receive additional incentive payments for working in an active combat zone, which helps support the specialists who ensure the uninterrupted provision of assistance to the population every day”, – the OVA wrote.
