On the temporarily occupied left bank of Kherson region, the so-called Kherson Regional Branch of the Russian Geographical Society was illegally registered.

The place of registration of the branch is listed as the city of Henichesk, and the head and one of the owners is named as the so-called Minister of Resorts and Tourism of Kherson region Serhiy Zapuskalov.
The other three co-owners are – deputy of the Suvorovskyi District Council Yevhenia Rubin, former associate professor of the Department of Crop Production at HDAEU Olena Berdnikova and a former employee of the administration of KSU’s student campus Nadiya Blyshchyk.
