The Kherson Regional Council announced the start of accepting proposals for nominations for the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Prize named after Pylyp Orlyk.
This was reported on the Kherson Regional Council’s social media.
It is noted that candidates may be submitted by executive authorities, military administrations of localities, as well as youth and children’s civic associations.
Laureates may be citizens of Ukraine aged from 14 to 35 years who have special achievements in defending the independence, sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine, in state-building processes, or in the development of parliamentarism and local self-government.
The regional council emphasizes that the submission must contain verified information about the candidate’s specific achievements.
The candidacy from Kherson will be approved by a decision of the session of the regional council, after which it will be forwarded to the relevant committee of the Verkhovna Rada.
In addition to the official petition, it is necessary to submit a package of documents, including information about the candidate’s achievements, a copy of the passport, consent to the processing of personal data, and for public associations — an extract from the register and a copy of the charter.
The deadline for submitting documents is May 1, 2026.
Proposals are accepted at the email address: [email protected].
