Russian forces struck the 5th building of Kherson State University.
This was reported on Facebook by the university rector Oleksandr Spivakovskyy.
The building housed the Faculty of Ukrainian and Foreign Philology, the Faculty of Journalism, and the Faculty of History, Psychology and Social Work.
As a result of the shelling, several floors of the building were damaged: windows were blown out, some frames were destroyed or temporarily covered with plywood. The facade is scarred by debris. Doors were also blown out, and the canopy structures were damaged. On the surrounding grounds — fragments of glass, wood and metal.

Recall, on the evening of February 2 Russian forces attacked the Kherson State University dormitory with a drone.
In total in the Kherson community as a result of the Russian Federation’s armed aggression 130 educational institutions were damaged, this is 193 buildings and structures, of which: 59 gymnasiums and schools, 71 kindergartens, 9 vocational education institutions and 10 – out-of-school education institutions.
