A 1000 kW generator was delivered to Kherson to ensure the stable operation of the municipal enterprise “Khersonteploenergo”.
This was reported by the head of the Kherson City Military Administration, Yaroslav Shanko.
Prior to this, representatives of the British company CMT POWER conducted an assessment of the enterprise’s needs for backup power sources, after which a decision was made to transfer generators.
The equipment was provided by the U.S. Department of Energy and the U.S. National Nuclear Security Administration. This is the first tranche of aid; further deliveries are expected in the coming days.
