The court found in absentia a resident of Henichesk district, Nataliya Karpachova, guilty of collaborationist activity; during the occupation she headed the school seized by Russians in the village of Rivne.
This was reported in the verdict of the Solomianskyi District Court.
According to the investigation, Karpachova, while serving as the so‑called director of the institution established by the occupiers «State Budgetary Educational Institution of Kherson Region “Rivne School of Henichesk Municipal District”», implemented Russian educational standards in the school.
In particular, the school organized instruction according to the federal state educational standards of the Russian Federation for primary, basic and secondary school. The educational process was conducted in the Russian language.
The court established that she personally selected teaching staff to work in the occupation-run institution, organized the admission of pupils according to Russian standards, received textbooks based on Russian Federation curricula from the occupation administration, and ensured their distribution among children.
In addition, Russian symbols, including flags of the Russian Federation, were displayed in the school building.
Recall, before the full-scale invasion she worked as deputy headteacher of the Rivne School.
In 2022 she began to cooperate with the occupation authorities and obtained the position of the illegal director of the Rivne School.
In May 2024 was suspected under Part 3 of Article 111-1 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine – conducting propaganda in educational institutions with the aim of facilitating the armed aggression against Ukraine.
