Law enforcement officers have notified Kherson region resident Maksym Lytvynenko of suspicion of collaborationist activity.
The text of the suspicion was published on the website of the Office of the Prosecutor General of Ukraine.
According to the investigation, in 2023 the occupying administration created the so-called “Ministry of Natural Resources, Ecology and Fisheries of the Kherson Region”.
Lytvynenko voluntarily took the position of the so-called head of the crop production department in this body.
According to the investigation, the “ministry” is actually located in the village of Shchaslyvtseve in Henichesk district.
He is charged under Part 5 of Article 111-1 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine — voluntarily taking a position in illegal authorities created on the temporarily occupied territory.
