In the temporarily occupied territories of Kherson region, the Russians have tightened control over men of conscription age.
This is stated in a message from the Center for National Resistance.
According to the Center for National Resistance, at checkpoints and during document checks they have begun to demand a certificate from the military enlistment office to leave the locality or the region.
Formally this is explained as “clarification of military registration.” In fact, without the appropriate mark men may be turned back or obliged to appear at the military commissariat for “data verification”.
Special attention is paid to men aged 18–60 who are trying to travel to Crimea or to the territory of the Russian Federation. In the absence of the certificate, their data are recorded and the information is passed to local military structures, the post says.
