Investigators of the Security Service of Ukraine notified former teacher Larysa Lavrova of suspicion, who during the occupation of the right bank of the Kherson region voluntarily headed a kindergarten in the village of Mykilske.
The text of the suspicion was published on the website of the Office of the Prosecutor General of Ukraine.
According to the investigation, Lavrova previously taught at the local school, and during the occupation she cooperated with the occupying administration and helped implement Russian education standards.
According to the investigation materials, she was appointed head of the kindergarten that the occupiers organized on the basis of the communal institution “Dzhereltse” in the Dar’ivska community.
Lavrova handled the registration of the kindergarten with the Russian tax service, drew up the staffing schedule, and encouraged former colleagues and technical staff to work in the occupation-run facility.
Under her leadership, Ukrainian literature and state symbols were removed from the kindergarten and replaced with Russian manuals and flags. All administrative documentation was kept exclusively in Russian.
Larysa Lavrova is accused of aiding the state-aggressor (Part 1, Article 111-2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine). The investigation continues.
Note that at the end of 2023 Lavrova received an in absentia verdict for collaboration. Then, for assistance in the seizure of the kindergarten she received 2 years in prison.
