In Kherson region, they plan to create an alley in support of Ukrainian servicemen who are held captive or are considered missing. The initiator of the project is the public organization “Dobrodiya-Kherson”.
This was reported on the page of the State Agency of Forest Resources of Ukraine.
To implement the initiative, the State Agency of Forest Resources of Ukraine signed a memorandum of cooperation with the organization. The document was signed by the First Deputy Head of the State Agency of Forest Resources of Ukraine, Volodymyr Buchko, and the head of the NGO, Viktoriya Havrenkova.
As the agency noted, the project is intended to become a symbol of support for the families of defenders and the restoration of the region, which was under occupation for a long time and continues to suffer shelling.
According to the organizers, the alley will be created together with the parents of the servicemen. Each tree will symbolize the waiting for a soldier’s return.
The organizers hope that the initiative will become a sign of faith in the return of the defenders and the resilience of Kherson region.
