The Kherson region accounts for the smallest number of protocols for drunk driving in Ukraine, drawn up in 2025.

The smallest number of protocols was recorded in Kherson region – 1 138 cases, as well as in Chernivtsi (1 596) and Ivano-Frankivsk (1 897) oblasts.
The most drunk drivers – in the Dnipropetrovsk region – 13 519 cases. Among the top three worst-performing regions were Kharkiv region – 12 095 cases and Odesa region – 11 543 protocols.
Across the country, 138 047 protocols were drawn up in 2025 for drunk driving (Art. 130 of the Code of Ukraine on Administrative Offenses). This is 8% less than in 2024. The year was an exception, since in recent years the number of drunk drivers had only been increasing.
Recall that the Security Service of Ukraine announced suspicions against two Ukrainian citizens who established the operation of a business in the temporarily occupied territories of the Kherson and Zaporizhzhia regions.
