The Truskavets City Court has ruled to dissolve the marriage of the former head of the Kherson Regional State Administration Andriy Hordieiev and his wife Maryna. The couple, who married in the summer of 2018, have officially ended their relationship.
The relevant court decision was published on the EDRSR website.
The case was heard under a simplified procedure, so the judge issued the decision without the former spouses’ personal presence.
As stated in the decision, the initiator of the divorce was Maryna Hordieieva. In her lawsuit she explained that family life did not work out: the couple have been living separately for a long time, do not maintain a shared household, and have completely different views on the future. In the woman’s opinion, continuing to remain married would be a formality that contradicts her interests.
In addition to the divorce itself, the court granted Maryna Hordieieva’s request to return her premarital surname – Chernyshova.
Recall that in 2023 Andriy Hordieiev allegedly went to Ireland for treatment. At that time MOST’s sources confirmed that the Hordieiev family had moved to Dublin. There they registered as refugees. Hordieiev even tried to join the local “lawyer scene”.
Judging by Andriy Hordieiev’s social media, he still lives in Ireland. In October he said that he completed legal courses at a college in the town of Cavan.
