Defenders of the Kherson region who returned from Russian captivity will receive a one-time cash payment funded by the regional budget.
This was reported by the Kherson Regional Military Administration.
The decision was made during a meeting of the regional commission, which was chaired by the head of the Department for Veterans Affairs of the Kherson Regional State Administration, Darya Mazur. Commission members reviewed cases for providing material support and approved payments to the defenders totaling 900 thousand hryvnias.
Recall that, as part of the prisoner exchange that took place on February 5, a serviceman from the Vysokopilska community – Kostyantyn Hrytsak, as well as Volodymyr Pasko from Novovorontsovka, resident of the village Milove Volodymyr Khorolskyi and a serviceman from the village Lvove Denys Fedirko.
