Kherson athlete Kostiantyn Horelov won the silver medal at the first stage of the Ukrainian Cup in Thai boxing (Muay Thai).
This was reported by the Kherson Regional Military Administration.
The competitions took place in Odesa from February 5 to 8. For Kostiantyn Horelov this tournament was his debut in the new competitive season.
The athlete trains under the guidance of Petro Verenych. In the weight category over 91 kilograms, the Kherson native reached the final, where he lost to the reigning world and European champion.
Recall, the Kherson female athlete became a medalist of the Ukrainian Indoor Athletics Cup.
