PJSC “Khersonbud”, which in 2024 was confiscated from the so‑called governor of Kherson region Volodymyr Saldo, has been put up for sale with a starting price of 7.68 million hryvnias.
This was announced by the Prozorro.Sales system.
The submission of bids will continue until February 22, and the auction itself will take place the following day.
If the bidding does not determine a winner, a repeat auction will be held with the starting price reduced by 20% – 6.15 million hryvnias.
The nine‑story building of “Khersonbud” is located near the Dnipro, within range even of mortar fire; the Russians shelled the structure repeatedly.
Recall, last year Russian forces fired four guided aerial bombs at Kherson, which hit the building of the company PJSC “Khersonbud”, which had previously belonged to the occupation governor. As a result of the attack, a significant part of the building was destroyed.
We also previously wrote that in 2024, by decision of the High Anti‑Corruption Court, over 8.5% of the shares of PJSC “Khersonbud” that belonged to the Saldo family were transferred to the state.
PJSC “Khersonbud” for many years was the subject of a conflict between Volodymyr Saldo and Kherson entrepreneur Borys Sandyk. In particular, Saldo was accused of a raider seizure of the building at Luteranska, 24 in Kherson.
In this conflict the Ministry of Justice even intervened, and its position outraged anti‑corruption activists.
