As part of the prisoner exchange that took place on February 5, a serviceman from the village of L’vove of the Tyahynska community — Denys Fedirko — returned from captivity.
This was reported on the Tyahynska territorial community’s Facebook page.
Denys Fedirko served in the 12th Special Purpose Brigade “Azov”. He was taken prisoner on May 16, 2022.
In January 2025 it became known that the so-called supreme court in occupied Donetsk sentenced Fedirko to 24.5 years in a maximum-security penal colony for alleged attempted murder and violations of the laws of war.
Earlier we wrote that, as part of the exchange, senior sailor of the 36th Separate Marine Brigade Volodymyr Pasko and a resident of the village of Mylove Volodymyr Khorolskyi were returned from captivity.
