In Beryslav, Russian forces attacked an evacuation vehicle carrying volunteers and local residents with drones. As a result of the strike, the vehicle burned and one person was killed.
This was reported by the head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration, Oleksandr Prokudin.
According to him, volunteers who were evacuating civilians from a dangerous area came under enemy attack. Since February 4, they, together with local residents, had been unable to leave Beryslav because of the constant threat of attacks by Russian UAVs. Only today, thanks to the efforts of Ukrainian military, the people were able to be evacuated.
Volunteers and four residents of Beryslav were taken to a safer community. Three of them were injured and are currently under doctors’ supervision.
At the same time, as a result of a drone hitting the vehicle, a man born in 1982 suffered fatal injuries.
