19 children were evacuated from dangerous communities in Kherson region over two weeks.
This was reported by the Kherson Regional Military Administration.
This concerns localities that are under constant shelling: the settlements Pryozerne and Komyshany, as well as the riverfront neighborhoods of Kherson itself.
The OVA noted that in just the last month Russian forces have carried out more than 400 strikes on Kherson. Due to the high intensity of the attacks, the presence of children in these areas is critically dangerous.
The process is being slowed down by the categorical refusal of some parents to leave dangerous areas. Data on families who refuse to evacuate are being passed to the juvenile police. Law enforcement will work with them within the scope of their powers to protect children’s rights.
Recall that due to Russian shelling at the end of January a 14-year-old teen was injured.
