On the temporarily occupied territory of Kherson Oblast, a “court” handed down a sentence to a 40-year-old resident of the village of Vesele of the so-called Velykolepetyskyi district, accusing her of public calls for activities aimed against the security of the Russian Federation.
This was reported by the occupying prosecutor’s office of Kherson Oblast.
The occupiers claim that from the end of November 2023 until mid-February 2024 she allegedly posted on social networks messages calling to collect funds for Ukrainian servicemen participating in hostilities against Russia.
The woman was found guilty and sentenced to 4 years and 6 months of imprisonment with a ban on engaging in activities related to administering websites and pages on the Internet for the same term. The serving of the sentence was deferred until her minor child reaches the age of 14.
Earlier it was reported that the occupiers sentenced a resident of temporarily occupied Kakhovka, Iryna Hedzyk, accusing her of alleged espionage.
