It has been reported that volunteer Serhiy Skorokhod from the village of Sofiyivka in the Stanislav community has died.
This was reported by Stanislav village head Ivan Samoylenko.
According to him, the man died on January 27 as a result of an attack by a Russian drone. At the time of the strike he was repairing the damaged roof of one of the houses.
“While repairing the homes of Sofiyivka residents on January 27, Serhiy Skorokhod, a resident of the Stanislav community from Sofiyivka, was killed by a loitering drone. He had always been involved in charity—repairing houses, evacuating residents from Sofiyivka, delivering food supplies, and repairing power lines during shelling. May he rest in heaven and may Serhiy’s memory be eternal. Sincere condolences to his family and loved ones,” — wrote Samoylenko.
