In Malokakhovka on the left bank of the Kherson region, an illegal Resource Center for the Support of Public Initiatives “Believe in Yourself” was established.
This is recorded in Russian registries.
The center’s director is Viktoriya Popova from Malokakhovka. She also heads the illegal local NGO «Step into the Future».
Prior to the full-scale invasion, she likely worked in education.
According to Kiborg, in the summer of 2022 Popova accompanied children from occupied Kakhovka to camps in Crimea and Russia.
Now the woman is the director of the Malokakhovka village library established by the occupiers.
