The occupiers illegally sentenced a resident of the Kherson region, Anatoliy Gronya, to 18 years in prison. He is accused of “attempted sabotage”.
This is reported by pro-Russian media citing the illegal prosecutor’s office.
According to the occupiers, the man attempted to blow up a mobile communications tower.
The incident allegedly took place in April 2025. It is claimed that the man acted “in prior conspiracy” and for monetary reward. To carry out the plan he allegedly personally manufactured a radio-controlled explosive device and placed it under the communications facility.
There was no explosion — the occupying FSB reported detaining the man directly at the scene.
Anatoliy Gronya was sentenced to 18 years in prison and fined 500,000 rubles.
Earlier we wrote that the occupiers will try a resident of temporarily occupied Kakhovka Iryna Hedzyk for “espionage”.
