On the Kherson front, a soldier, an anti-aircraft gunner of the National Guard of Ukraine, Vadym Rotar, was killed.

Vadym Rotar was born on March 17, 2001, in the village of Krutoyarivka in the Odesa region. He spent his childhood in the village of Respublikanets.
He graduated from Novokair School, later enrolled in the Novokakhovsk Vocational-Technical Lyceum, where he mastered the profession of a tiler. After completing his studies, Vadym completed his mandatory military service.
After the full-scale invasion, he joined the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and took part in the liberation of Mykolaiv and Kherson.
On March 17, 2024, Vadym Rotar was killed on the Kherson front. He was 23 years old.
