Russian invaders took 24 teenagers from the occupied part of Kherson Oblast to Volgograd to participate in the project “Pride of the Nation. Path of Development”.
This was reported by the head of the occupation administration, Volodymyr Saldo.
The children, whom the propaganda calls “children of special military operation veterans”, were placed in the defense-sports camp “Avangard” in Volgograd.
According to Saldo, the children will be taught the basics of modern military professions, the operation of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), the basics of cybersecurity, and the provision of first medical aid in combat conditions.
Recall that “Avangard” is a network of Russian educational-methodical centers for military-patriotic education, created under the aegis of the Russian Ministry of Defense. Such centers specialize in intensive initial military training of youth. In fact, through these institutions the Kremlin carries out the militarization of teenagers, preparing them for future service in the aggressor’s army and instilling Russian state ideology.
Note that last year the occupation authorities of the left-bank Kherson region sent at least 59 children to the “Avangard” camp.
