In the second half of 2025 in the Kherson region parents most often chose traditional and popular names for newborns, while there were also some rarely used options.

Among female names in the Kherson region the most common were Veronika, Eva, Sofia, Zlata, Daryna, Victoria, Anastasia, Maria and Milana.
In the list of male names most frequently registered in the region, – Bohdan, Mark, Oleksandr, Artem, Yehor, Yaroslav, Matvii and Tymofii.
Along with popular names parents also chose rarer ones. Among rare female names recorded in the second half of 2025 were Adelina, Elina, Anzhelika, Maya, Dominika and Mara.
The list of unusual male names included Damon, Ramil, Leon, Demid, Markiyan, Avenir and Dariy.
