Russian fishermen in 2025 allegedly caught 54 thousand tons of aquatic biological resources in the Azov and Black Seas. This is the highest figure in the last four years.
This is reported by media controlled by the Russian Federation.
According to them, the main targets of the catch in the Black Sea are anchovy and sprat, and in the Azov Sea – pilengas, gobies, turbot, Black Sea shrimp and rapana.
Separately, Russian structures claim an increase in the catch of Black Sea shrimp in the Azov Sea. At the same time, 82% of this volume was allegedly caught by enterprises of the temporarily occupied Kherson and Zaporizhzhia regions.
Recall that earlier experts controlled by the occupation authorities reported a critical state of the Azov Sea ecosystem and a sharp decline in the numbers of fish and other biological resources.
