Tennis players from the Kherson region Angelina Kalinina and Yuliia Starodubtseva won their semifinal matches in the Australian Open-2026 qualifying and advanced to the final of the qualifying tournament.
This was reported by Suspilne Sport.
In the semifinals, Starodubtseva defeated Greek Despina Papamichail 6:1, 6:2, while Kalinina beat Dutch Anouk Kuvermans — 7:6(6), 6:0.
In the qualifying final, Starodubtseva will play Bulgarian Viktoriya Tomova, and Kalinina will face Polish Maja Chwalinska.


These results give Ukrainian tennis players a chance to reach the main draw of the Australian Open-2026.
