More than 30% of all complaints received from residents of the occupied Kherson region since the New Year concern systematic power supply disruptions.
Pro-Russian media report this.
Due to significant damage to substations and power lines on the left bank, the occupiers introduced outage schedules. However, according to local residents, these schedules exist only on paper: the power goes out outside the schedule and for extended periods.
Due to unstable voltage or a complete loss of power, pumping stations have been stopped, as a result of which residents of Velyka Lepetykha, Knyaze-Hryhorivka, as well as a number of settlements in Skadovsk district have been left without water.
Recall that in the autumn of 2025 the Russian government promised to allocate over 1.5 billion rubles for power supply to the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine.
In July last year the occupation governor of Kherson region, Volodymyr Saldo, stated that the energy system of Kherson region “is stabilized and operates steadily”.
