In Kherson, the wind knocked down trees that tore power lines and partially blocked streets. Roads have been covered with snow.
This was reported by the head of the Kherson Military-Civil Administration, Yaroslav Shanko.
According to him, since 05:00 employees of the municipal enterprise “Municipal Road Management” have gone out to clear the streets. Primarily the central ones and public transport routes.
All emergency rescue services have been placed on heightened alert. Nearly 25 employees of three municipal enterprises of the Kherson City Council and up to 15 units of special equipment are engaged in eliminating the consequences of the bad weather.
Note that in Kherson, due to deteriorating weather conditions and the significant amount of work to eliminate the consequences of the bad weather, trolleybuses will not be put into service.
