Olena Hrushynska, a native of Donetsk region who in 2023 assumed the position of first deputy to the occupying minister of labor and social protection of Kherson region, has been notified of suspicion.
This is reported on the website of the Office of the Prosecutor General.
While in a high leadership position, Hrushynska performed a wide range of organizational and administrative functions under Russian law. In particular, she participated in preparing drafts of regulatory acts, managed directorates and departments of the illegal ministry, organized the payment of social assistance and subsidies according to Russian standards, and also handled issues of labor relations and guardianship.
She also directly participated in forming registries of social service providers, managed Ukrainian state property that was under the operational management of social institutions, and received citizens on behalf of the occupying administration.
Olena Hrushynska has been notified of suspicion of committing the crimes provided for in part 5 of Article 111-1 (collaborationist activity) and part 2 of Article 111 (state treason) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
Before becoming the first deputy of the occupying minister of labor and social protection, Hrushynska worked as an assistant to the head of the illegal Melitopol railway.
