Doctors of the Kherson Regional Children’s Hospital commented on the condition of the children who were injured as a result of the Russian shelling.
This was reported by Inna Kholodniak, director of the Kherson Regional Children’s Hospital, in a video released by the Kherson Regional Military Administration.
According to her, the 8-year-old boy has a mine-blast injury, shrapnel wounds to the head, torso, and neck; the 16-year-old girl also has a mine-blast injury and shrapnel wounds to the foot and lower leg. She underwent surgery at night.
The children’s condition is currently stable, according to the medics.
Their mother has been diagnosed with an acute stress reaction.
Recall that on the night of January 9 the Russians with artillery shelled the settlement of Tekstylnyky. One of the shells hit a residential building. As a result, the children were injured.
