On the temporarily occupied territory of Kherson region, the Russian occupation authorities reported the transfer of 12 sites to the region’s ownership as part of a program to develop automobile tourism.
This is stated on the occupation authorities’ website.
According to the so-called Ministry of Tourism of Kherson region, these sites are to become the basis for creating tourist locations and investment platforms.
It is noted that part of the automobile routes planned to be developed in Kherson region allegedly pass through sites with characteristics of cultural heritage.
Currently, according to the occupation authorities, measures to demarcate and transfer to the region’s ownership these 12 sites are underway.
Recall that the occupation governor announced the start of developing car tourism on the left bank of Kherson region as early as March last year. He then stated that eight tourist automobile routes had been developed under the initiative, covering the Azov-Black Sea coast, the “Askania-Nova” reserve and the region’s key tourist attractions.
