The occupying authorities of the Kherson region claim that the number of people killed in Khorly has risen to 29. Among the dead are allegedly two children.
This is reported by pro-Russian resources citing the so-called investigative committee.
According to their version, fragments of several drones were recovered at the scene. It is claimed that experts are identifying their type, origin and the warhead’s power. Interrogations of victims and witnesses are also reported, and the occupation authorities plan to complete the so-called investigative actions within two days.
Recall, on the night of December 31 to January 1, 2026, the restaurant “Ukrainian Khata” burned in Khorly, and the nearby hotel “Leo” was also damaged. Occupation resources claimed that 24 people had allegedly died. Later the number of victims increased.
Saldo promised to publish the names of all civilians who died in Khorly. However, he later stopped publishing lists of the victims killed in Khorly on New Year’s night, citing that it was impossible to identify everyone.
