The so-called governor of Kherson Oblast, Volodymyr Saldo, announced the detention of a group of individuals who allegedly, posing as journalists, attempted to gain access to Russian military units.
He said this on the air of a Kremlin-controlled television channel.
According to Saldo, the purpose of such actions was “disinforming the global public” and preparing a report for “Western handlers”.
Details of the detention have not been disclosed.
