The Uzhhorod City District Court handed down a verdict to Kherson resident Yuliya Romanova, who agreed to work in the occupation’s tax office.
This is stated in the court’s verdict.
According to the investigation, in the summer of 2022 Yuliya Romanova began working in the occupying administration of the Tax Service of Kherson Oblast and took the position of a tax service inspector.
In this position she carried out tax inspections, analyzed the results, and imposed sanctions on violators.
Romanova worked in this position until the end of October 2022. It is unknown where she is now.
She was convicted in absentia of collaborationist activity (Part 7 of Article 111-1 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine) and sentenced to 15 years of imprisonment with confiscation of all her property.
Recall that last year the head of the occupying administration of the Tax Service of Kherson Oblast was sentenced in absentia to 15 years in prison was sentenced in absentia to 15 years in prison.
