Occupation media published data about two more people killed in the cafe “Ukrainian Khata” and the Leo hotel in Khorly.
According to them, among the dead are the establishments’ owner Oksana Buganova and an employee of the occupying administration of Kalanchak, Anastasiia Sabitova.
Oksana Buganova – an entrepreneur and a former deputy of the Oleksandrivka village council of the former Kalanchak district.

Since 1999 she was engaged in business – she had her own shop in Khorly.
In 2010 she became a deputy of the village council from the “Party of Regions”. In 2020 she ran for the Kalanchak settlement council from the “Our Land” party.
After the start of the full-scale invasion, Buganova continued to run her business under occupation, and in January 2023 she registered as a private entrepreneur under Russian law.
Immediately after the fire there was information that Buganova had sustained serious injuries, but now occupation media have reported her death.
Another confirmed fatality, who, according to Russia-controlled media, was also in the cafe, is an employee of the occupying administration of Kalanchak – Anastasiia Sabitova.
She worked as a specialist in the pseudo-administration’s property department.

Recall that on the night of December 31 to January 1, 2026, the restaurant “Ukrainian Khata” was burning in Khorly, and the nearby Leo hotel also suffered an attack.
According to Russian media, the fire occurred as a result of strikes by Ukrainian drones and was planned by Ukrainian intelligence services.
On the morning of January 2, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine rejected these accusations.
So far the Russians emphasize that only civilians were killed in Khorly. MOST has identified some of the dead. You can read more about this HERE.
