The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine dismissed Russia’s accusations regarding an alleged strike on a hotel and a café in the village of Khorly in the temporarily occupied part of the Kherson region.
This was reported by “Interfax-Ukraine” citing the spokesman of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Dmytro Lykhoviy.
According to him, Ukrainian forces strike exclusively at the enemy’s military targets, as well as at facilities of the aggressor country’s fuel and energy complex, while adhering to the norms of international humanitarian law.
Lykhoviy emphasized that Russia has repeatedly resorted to disinformation in order to influence the international community and the course of possible peace negotiations.
Recall, last night in Khorly the restaurant “Ukrainian Khata”, also came under attack the hotel “Leo”, located nearby.
According to Russian statements, there allegedly 24 people were killed.
