Eleven trainees of the Kherson Children and Youth Physical Training Club No. 5 took part in the Sports Club Christmas Championship in Kyokushinkai karate, which was held in Kyiv.
This was reported by the Department of Education of the Kherson City Council.
As a result of the competition, the young athletes won seven awards. First place went to Vladyslav Orlov, Viktoriia Stepanova, Yehor Bonifartov, Kira Tatanenko and Yaroslav Boichuk. Second place was taken by Sofiia Shevchuk and Kira Krykun.
The athletes were prepared by club leaders Serhii and Yuliia Derii.
Recall, 13 female students of the Kherson Children and Youth Physical Training Club No. 5 took part in the All-Ukrainian modern dance tournament “Dance, Odesa”, which was held in Odesa.
